Privacy Policy
In short: Optipixa does not collect, upload, share or sell your photos or any information about you. Every photo is processed on your device and stays there.
Who we are
Optipixa is a photo resizing and compression app published by The Code Cipher (“we”). This policy explains how the app handles information.
Information we collect
None. Optipixa has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no crash-reporting services. The Android version does not have permission to access the internet, and the app does not send any data to us or to anyone else.
Your photos
- Choosing photos: you pick photos with your phone’s photo picker. Optipixa can only open the photos you select; it cannot browse your library.
- Camera: if you tap Take a photo, the app asks for camera access to capture that one photo. The camera is not used at any other time.
- Processing: resizing, cropping and compression happen entirely on your device.
- Saving: results are saved as new copies in your photo library, only when you tap Save. Your original photos are never changed or deleted.
- Location: location and other photo metadata are removed from every result.
- Temporary files: working copies are kept in the app’s private cache while you use it and are cleared by the app or by your phone.
Sharing
If you use Share, the compressed photo is passed to the app you choose (for example an email or messaging app). What happens next is governed by that app.
App stores
Google Play and the Apple App Store may collect information when you download or update apps, under their own privacy policies. Optipixa does not receive any personal information from them.
Children
Optipixa does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. If Optipixa ever starts collecting any information, we will say so here before that version of the app is released.
